Privacy Policy
Effective August 31, 2026
Overview
Cakesily (“we”, “us”) is operated by FAMZON LLC. Cakesily is a business management and costing tool for home bakers and cake decorators. In this Privacy Policy, the “user” or “baker” is the person who creates a Cakesily account.
This policy describes the information Cakesily handles when you use the service, how it is used, and the choices available to you. It applies to the Cakesily mobile app and the Cakesily website at cakesily.com.
Information we handle
Account information
When you register, you provide an email address and a password. Authentication is managed by the Base44 platform; Cakesily does not see or store your password. You may optionally add your name to your profile. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the sign-in credential you already have with Google.
Bakery (business) profile
To operate your bakery workspace, you may provide your business name, logo, contact email and phone, pickup address, currency, country, pricing and labor settings, overhead and profit margins, tax settings, payment instructions (for example Zelle recipient details), notification preferences, capacity settings, and language preferences.
Business content
The content you create and store to run your bakery includes ingredients, recipes and recipe components, cake sizes, decorations, materials, flavors, products, clients, cake inquiries (requests), quotes and their pricing snapshots, orders, deposits and payment records, calendar entries, and production tasks.
Customer information you enter
When you create quotes, inquiries, or orders, you may enter customer name, phone, email, event details, delivery or pickup details, allergy notes, and payment records. Cakesily stores this information so you can manage that customer’s quote or order.
Files and images
You may upload inspiration photos, product photos, a business logo, and cake thumbnail images. Some files are stored privately and accessed only through time-limited signed links. Other images are served through the platform’s media service so they can be displayed and optimized for the screen.
Technical and usage information
Cakesily collects limited analytics about how features are used (custom events). For public forms — the customer cake-inquiry form and the storefront order form — we process the trusted connecting IP address to limit abuse, using a one-way salted hash; we do not store the raw IP address. Standard request and account information is also processed by the Base44 platform and hosting infrastructure as needed to operate and secure the service.
We only describe technical information we can confirm from the current implementation. We do not knowingly collect precise device location, contact lists, or advertising identifiers.
How we use information
- To create and operate your account and bakery workspace.
- To calculate and store costs, quotes, orders, deposits, and calendar entries.
- To send transactional emails, such as quotes, deposit confirmations, and support replies, through Resend.
- To process web subscription billing through Stripe.
- To secure the service, including tenant isolation, rate limiting, and signed tokens.
- To communicate with you about your account or changes to this policy.
We do not use your information to train external models or for cross-customer advertising.
Service providers
Cakesily relies on these service providers, each operating under its own terms:
- Base44 — application hosting, authentication, database, file storage, and analytics.
- Stripe — subscription billing for web subscriptions.
- Apple — App Store distribution and in-app subscription billing for the iOS app.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Google — optional Google sign-in, when you choose it.
- Platform media service (media.base44.com / Wix Media Platform) — image storage and on-the-fly optimization for images you upload.
We do not knowingly allow these providers to use your information for their own advertising.
Sharing and advertising
We do not sell your information. We share it only as needed to operate the service (including with the providers listed above), to comply with legal obligations, or to protect rights, safety, and security. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising.
Data retention
Your information is retained while your account is active and until you delete it through the in-app deletion tool. Limited security and audit records — such as deletion confirmation grants and rate-limit counters — may be retained after deletion for security and integrity. Public-form rate-limit counters use hashed identifiers rather than raw IP addresses.
Account and data deletion
You can delete your bakery data and account from within the Cakesily app. The deletion process is a two-step confirmation: you request deletion, confirm it, and Cakesily deletes the owned bakery data for your businesses and removes your memberships. The underlying platform account is managed through your account settings. A small audit record of the deletion is retained for security.
There is no public web page for deletion because the tool verifies your identity through your signed-in session. To delete your data:
- Sign in to Cakesily.
- Open your Profile settings.
- Choose the delete account option and complete both confirmation steps.
You can start by signing in: Cakesily Log In.
Your privacy choices
- Update your profile and bakery settings at any time within the app.
- Adjust your notification preferences in your bakery settings.
- Disconnect an optional Google sign-in through your Google account settings.
- Request deletion of your data using the steps above.
- Contact us through the Support page with privacy questions.
Children’s privacy
Cakesily is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to Cakesily, please contact us through the Support page so we can delete it.
Data security
We use access controls, per-business tenant isolation, server-side secrets, short-lived signed tokens, rate limiting, and a two-step deletion process. We do not store raw IP addresses for public forms. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not make specific claims about encryption practices beyond what the platform and hosting infrastructure provide to operate the service.
International access
Cakesily is available through the Apple App Store (US) and through supported web browsers. If you access Cakesily from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where the platform and its providers operate.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy and will show the effective date on this page. We will communicate material changes in the app or on this page. By continuing to use Cakesily after changes take effect, you accept the updated policy.
Contact
You can reach Cakesily through the Support page or our website at cakesily.com. Signed-in bakers can also use the in-app Help & Support page.
