Delete your Cakesily account

Permanent deletion of your Cakesily: Cake Pricing account and the bakery data stored with it.

Cakesily: Cake Pricing is a bakery pricing and business management app for home bakers. This page explains how to delete your account permanently, which data is removed, and which limited records we must keep. You do not need to sign in to use this page.

Delete inside the app (immediate)

If you can still sign in, this is the fastest route and it completes right away. Open Profile, scroll to Delete account & bakery data, and confirm by typing DELETE. Your account is deleted, your data is removed, and you are signed out. This works the same on Android, iOS, and the web.

If you cannot sign in, send us a deletion request below. We verify that the address belongs to a Cakesily account, then delete the account and its data on your behalf.

What is deleted

  • Your Cakesily account and sign-in profile (email address, name, role).
  • Bakery settings: business name, logo, contact details, pickup address, pricing, labor, tax and notification preferences.
  • Ingredients, recipes and recipe lines, cake sizes, flavors, decorations, materials and products.
  • Quotes, quote line items, invoices, saved calculations, orders, deposits and payment records you created.
  • Customer records, cake inquiries, production tasks and calendar entries.
  • Uploaded images such as inspiration photos, product photos and logos (they are removed or become permanently unreachable).
  • Your subscription record inside Cakesily, and your team memberships.

What we keep, and why

Deletion receipt

A minimal record confirming that a deletion took place (a one-way hash, timestamps and counts — never your bakery content). Kept up to 24 months for security and audit purposes.

Billing identifiers

If you had a paid subscription, invoice or billing reference identifiers are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. The actual charge and subscription history stays with Stripe, Google Play or Apple under their own policies.

Abuse-prevention counters

Hashed IP counters used to rate-limit public forms expire within 24 hours and never contain a raw IP address.

We never keep your recipes, quotes, customer records, or photos after a completed deletion.

How long deletion takes

Deletion happens immediately when you confirm it in the app: your account is closed, you are signed out, and your data is removed. The platform keeps a deleted account in a “recently deleted” state for 30 days before purging it permanently. Requests sent from this page are confirmed by email within 7 days and completed within 30 days.

Your subscription is not cancelled automatically

Deleting your Cakesily account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store, because those are billed by the store rather than by us. Cancel it first in the store so you are not charged again. You can cancel before or after deleting your account — an active subscription never blocks deletion.
